Do you think that Pop music video's are becoming more gay?

To the people of the internet!

Do you think that Pop music videos are becoming more open about LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender) groups?
If yes then why do you think that this is the case?
Do you think it is right to?

There is no real right answer so write what you think!
Thanks ☺

  1. yes, I do think it is more open, worlds a different place now, society is more acceptable and people are becoming more resilient maybe, having more of a care-free outlook on things, I do think its right because it gives people who maybe scared and uncomfortable with it to be more confident with who they are :)

  2. I do think music videos are more open about LGBT, because as time has evolved and changed, more people who are gay etc are not afraid to reveal it because society has become open to the idea, and by implementing LGBT features in videos clearly represents the change in society for the better. In some respect, some would still say the world isn't ready for music videos to have the right in revealing LGBT scenes due to inappropriateness for younger audiences, however some would say it is right to in order to educate young audiences some aspects of the 21st century's culture.

  3. I agree with Olivia on this one and say yes, more pop music icons are coming out and expressing the fact that the are LGBT and no one should hide from the fact that they are.

  4. I don't think so, but taking into consideration pop stars such as Lady Gaga and how they influence such gay and lesbian groups, pop music is continuing to appeal to the LGBT groups. However, pop music has still sustained its limits in how it exposes these groups and I frankly do not see it personally, it is still the same as its always has been. Its just that some pop sensations personal lives do impact these groups by what they do.
